I Teen Choice Awards sono una manifestazione organizzata dal canale americano FOX, che si tiene ogni anno dal 1999. Durante la serata i ragazzi hanno la possibilità di votare e premiare i loro artisti preferiti, suddivisi in diverse categorie riguardanti musica, cinema e serie TV. Il premio è la riproduzione a grandezza naturale di una bellissima tavola da surf decorata il maniera diversa per ogni edizione.

Ricordiamo tra i premiati dell’anno scorso Johnny Depp e Keira Knightley per “Pirati dei Caraibi: ai confini del mondo”, Will Smith come miglior attore drammatico per “La ricerca delle felicità“, oppure la bellissima Sophia Bush che si è portata a casa addirittura 3 tavole da surf in una serata!!

Pochi giorni fa sono state rese note le nomination per il 2008 si terrà il 4 agosto e a presentare sarà Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), che segue le orme di Hilary Duff, presentatrice nel 2007 e 2005.

Da notare le tantissime nomination per il mio adorato Gossip girl!!
